SCALING AND SANDBLASTING:

The basic procedure performed during hygienization is scaling. . It consists in removing dental deposits and calculus. The most common form of scaling, scaling, which is used in dental clinics, is ultrasonic scaling. A complementary procedure to scaling is tooth sandblasting, which removes deposits, discoloration and possible tartar remnants. The sandblasting procedure is performed using a tool called a sandblaster and appropriate chemicals – tooth cleaning sand. Thanks to this procedure deposit and discoloration of the teeth disappear not only quickly, but also effectively.

POLISHING AND FLUORIDATION:

After scaling and sandblasting, the next step of teeth hygienization is polishing. This procedure consists of thorough polishing of the teeth with a special paste. The effect of this paste reduces the possibility of future tartar deposition. This procedure is completely painless and leaves exceptionally smooth teeth. The last element of complete tooth hygienization is fluoridation, meaning dental varnishing.. The teeth are covered with a special varnish containing fluoride. The purpose of dental varnishing is to prevent the occurrence of caries and ensure proper protection of teeth against harmful external factors.
